I too, have this ailment and it finally put me in a wheel chair. It had finally bulged against the siatic nerve. I was scheduled for surgery but opted to try a chiropractor first. I had nothing to lose. I must tell you I did not believe in Chiropractic but when the pain gets bad enough, you overlook some prejudices very quickly. Remeber the saying "There are no atheists in foxholes" I went to my first visit in a wheel chair and four days later was able to walk, be it gingerly, to my appointment. I am still in treatment but gradually getting better. If the degeneration is to the point of fracturing disc there is a new treatment where a glue type material is injected and it hardens and becomes stronger than the bone itself. I have couple these treatments with a weight loss program to put less pressure on my spine. Norm
