I'm a Police officer, and one time I was working an ice hocky game, this women was sitting approximately 20' or better from the door,when some young people came into the rink with 3 to 4 latex balloons to cheer on their classmates. They had placed the balloons on the floor by the entrance. The women 20' away starts gasping for air, very simular to an asmatic attack. Her husband came over to me and indicated that his wife was extremely allergic to latex, I could n't believe it, I never saw anyone react that way . We took her outside, tried to get her to slow her breathing down, take slow deep breaths to regain some control. about 5min. later she pulls out of her pocket a cigarette, I said to her you must be feeling better, "your going to smoke a cigarette after all that", she claimed yes she was fine now. Go figure!!
