I also suffer from asbestosis. I have to take medications daily to prevent me from having complications that could lead to pneumonia, and asthma attacks. I am very short winded and use inhalers 4 times aday and more if I overexert myself. I only know, that they keep a check on my condition with x-rays, and medications to elevate some of my problems that is caused by this. I do hope that you will continue to see your doctors, and do talk over with them and see, what is the best solution for you.
