Claudia: It has been 3 1/2 years since your post regarding Barrett's Esophagus. I am really curious as to how you are doing after this length of time. How long ago were you diagnosed with Barrett's. Were you having symptoms when you were checked and found that you had Barrett's? Were your symptoms worse for a few weeks after each endoscopy? I just had a dull ache before the endoscopy, now I have a burning sensation in my stomach. It has been about 7 weeks since my endoscopy. I have been on Protonix. I try to avoid foods that will make my stomach too acidic - no coffee or carbonated drinks. I try to eat earlier in the evening. Has anyone tried herbal or natural remedies for this and found it to be of help? If so, what? Claudia, I would love to see another post from you letting us know how you are. I hope that the good Lord has protected you and that the Barrett's has only been a bit of a nuisance - and that you are okay...
