I now take The total EFA. Taking only Omega 3 can be dangerous. Make sure the Omega 3,6, and 9 complex also has Vitamin E in it as an antioxidant. I may soon be in a clinical study for dry eye and Blepharitis for the FDA. The product they are testing is being used with good results in Europe. It will be phase 3 of the studies. Also, the House of Representatives has passed their side for allowing us to buy (with a prescription from our doctor) products over the internet or by mail from other countries. Perhaps if the FDA takes years to approve a good remedy we can then buy them from Canada and Europe. Push your Senators for the approval of the legislation. Call Washington don't just e-mail they get too many. I'm using The Total EFA (from your health food store) twice a day and also taking Tahitian Noni. Both have antinflammatory properties and some healing. I'm getting relief. Also I'm using Genteel's gel for night instead of ointment. Much better for me and, of course perservative free drops from Genteel. Thera Tears sometimes feels better than the Genteel drops. I also wash my eyelids with 1/2 baby shampoo and water once a day. This is also helping. We're all different but I'm learning from you too. Maybe what helps me will help one of you. I understand.
