I am so sorry to hear of your RSD. I have RSD too and understand what you are going through. You are lucky that your doctor will give you MSContin. My doctor has me on Clonodine, Neurontin, EMLA cream, Naprosyn, Prevacid and Celexa. He told me the RSD will burn itself out in time and I did not need anything for the pain. Sleep is maybe 2-3 hours at a time if I'm lucky. It started in my ankle and has spread. I've been given pretty much unlimited Percocet or Vicodin by a previous doctor, but I hate taking them and rarely do because they really do not touch the RSD pain. I've had RSD for about 2 1/2 years and have had the lumbar sympathetic nerve blocks. The longest lasted almost 7 hours. It was well worth it, but the anesthesiologists did not agree. Do you have any tips or suggestions on what to do for the pain? What do you do for sleep, the skin sensitivity?
