My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer also.. at the end of Thanksgiving. The current survival rates for this are pretty grim.. I'm sure you've seen. but there are some promising things happening. The chemo your son is on is the same as my brother.. and it seems to be helping at this point. He has gained some weight back and the terrible pain attacks he was having have eased some. We are real hopeful on that new drug the just approved this week for cancer. Hopefully it will work as well against pancreatic. I pray every day for my brother and you gotta have hope and faith. Please let me know how your son is doing.. and you too.
