My daughter had an ovarian cyst that was ignored by the doctors for 4 years and when we finally got to have an ultrasound we got very fast results. Within 3 weeks we had the surgery and we are very pleased. The relief was almost instantanios. She could breath better and she was finally able to eat. There was so much pressure she was living in total discomfort every day. She is 18 now and just had the sugery last fall and is doing fine. Because the ovary had to be manipulated during the sugery her period has been quite spiratic. The cyst contained 6 litres of fluid. Just find a really good gynocolgist. Best of luck to you.
