I recently found out after going to my OB/GYN and also my urologist that I have a prolapsed uterus and prolapsed bladder. The treatment suggested is a hysterectomy and bladder suspension done at the same time. This would be done vaginally. I am trying to find others who have the same problem and have had the recommended surgical treatment. I am 60-yrs old, have had (4) children very close together and this is why, I was told, is the reason for this happening. I do not have urine leakage, but feel like my bladder needs to be emptied often, too often. It is also interfering with my sexual activity.Please share your experiences with me in order for me to make a decision about having these two surgerys.
