I have had the Cervical Disk Fusion at the C5 & C6 Level. I used to suffer from headaches everyday. Finally, after a neck injury, I ruptured a disk and could barely move, had an MRI, had the surgery, I rarely have any headaches any more. However, one year after surgery I am still having right arm pain and numbness. I am one of the rare cases where the arm pain & numbness doesn't go away immediately. But I am glad I had the surgery because it did eliminate the headaches. Hope this was of help to you.
