I have been raising a daughter with ezcema now for 8 years. We have gone through every kind of treatment you can imagine. It has been so hard for her and us to endure. We've shed many tears...but I just would like to tell anyone that has a child with ezcema to please tell their dermatologist to prescribe a new ointment that has recently been approved by the FDA. It is called Protopic. It is made from Tacrolimus. It is a safe, non-steroid ointment that will decrease the itching by 90% in 3 to 4 days and clear up the red, splotches. My daughter has been using it since they were doing trials and studies on it. She has had NO side effects, other than some mild burning when it is applied. We were having it specially compounded by a pharmacy, but it recently has been FDA approved so that now it can be prescribed and readily available at any pharmacy. I have been wanting to share this wonderful medicine breakthrough with someone!!! It has changed our life!!! I now have a daughter who is enjoying her life and not crying and scratching constantly!!! I sure hope it will help you!!! Good luck...!!!
