Yes it will. My mother had endo pretty bad - so bad that her uterus was 8 times its natural size and she had cysts and scar tissue everywhere. She started bleeding and it wouldn't stop for several months. Finally a doctor decided to remove everything and not only did she loose weight (because of the oversized uterus) but she stopped bleeding and is no longer in pain. My sister and I also have endometriosis. I am on a pill called aygestin - that supposedly stops all funtions and is a progesterin. My uterus is currently twice its normal size. I haven't had any kids yet so I don't want to remove everything quite yet. My sister had a lap and then had a kid. Getting pregnant is another remedy that halts cysts production for at least 2 years. hers is starting to come back though and her doctor is recommending either she have another kid now or the cysts will get so bad she won't be able to. he also just wants to take everything out and stop the problem forever.
