Elimron helps to rebuild the lining. But it doesn't help with the pain. I think ( at least my doctors have said this) that once the lining is completely rebuilt then the urgency, pain and frequency will all eventually go away. BUt they say it will take awhile. so in the interim I am on Ditropan 3 times a day to relax the baldder - helps with urgency and frequency because it relaxes the bladder so that it empties completely. I am also on Elavil for chronic pain and it also helps me sleep at night. and then I have a prescription pain med as well. Between all of those I seem to have most of it under control. You should see your doctor about those pills.
