James, Please have your neck checked sounds like classic symptoms of a herniated or bulging disc in your neck I know have two of them. Not the worst thing in the world but if you do there are many treatments you can try to relive your symptoms. sound like your fall on the ice could have hurt your neck please feel free to e-mail me have more info if you want it.
