Rori
I was also diagnosed with Post Concussion Syndrome. I was in a car accident about five months ago, and I hit my head going about 40MPH. One thing that your lucky about, is the fact that the hospital ran a CT-scan on you. When I went to the hospital they just gave me extra strength tylenol and sent me home, they told my father to wake me up in a couple hours to make sure that I would wake up. At that point I didn't think it was very serious, but about a month later I was still having nonstop migranes, all day long and all night as well. I write things backwards, I switch my words around, and I read things backwards. It's very frustrating. My short term memory is absolutely shot, things that I should know, or should remember I dont. How did you hit your head? I had been on a waiting list to see a neurologist for five months, and I just saw him yesterday. It was a little relieving to have someone finally diagnose me. He was honest and didn't sugar coat the diagnosis, he told me I could have these problems for the rest of my life, I'm 18 so that's been alot for me to handle. My only advice is go see a specialist! That's the only person that can help you. I just needed to talk to someone who knows what I'm going through. If you want someone to talk to just e-mail me. I hope you get better.
