I've had several MRI's, therapy, CT scans and a milogram (which was very painful). I was told that the disks at C4-5 and C6-7 are herniated pinching the nerves. I am in constant intense pain. Darvocet has not even taken the edge off the pain. One doctor recommended surgery, one said he didn't think it would help. I am also suffering from degenerated disk disease in my lower back which is also extremely painful. Is there anything that can be done for the pain. It is getting worse daily. I can only stand for less than 2 minutes before my feet and legs become numb. My hands and legs keep swelling and the pressure causes headaches. Am I headed towards paralysis?
