I too, have the same problem. The need to urinate frequently even wakes me up several times during the night - so it causes insomnia as well. My doctor started me on 10mg/day of Nortryptilene. She said it tightens the muscle at the base of the bladder and should stop frequent urination. I don't think it's the right drug for what I need. I don't have problems controlling the urination, I want to be free from the constant feeling of having a full bladder. I have seen Detrol advertised, and it sounds like that's what I need to control the full bladder feeling along with frequent urination. Has anyone out there tried Detrol? What are the results?
