I'd get treatment as early as possible. IF it should be cancer, your best hope of recovery is to catch it in its early stages. If not, you will still pay yourself an enormous peace-of-mind dividend to get it checked out, and a cyst can be removed, perhaps even with relativly simple laser surgery. In my humble opinion, there's no reason for you to endure this kind of pain if you can get rid of it. I wish you well. :)
