My 3 year old has chronic sinus infections. He has been on antibiotics at least 11 times this past year, is on Flonase nasal spray once a day, we spray his nose with saline to clear congestion. I hold one nostril, while he blows his nose with his mouth open (supposed to be the best way to blow mucous out and not force it in to the sinuses). He had allergy testing done - showed nothing. The ENT dr. says its likely allergy related so I've started him on Claritin once a day. Immune disorder testing showed nothing. Our ENT doctor says its something he'll just have to grow out of! It is painful and disruptive to his life.....does anyone have any suggestions for what else we can do??? I'd appreciate feedback.
