I think I do have gout, but am not sure. I went to a Doctor and she told me she couldn't help me she didn't have the equipment to do the test for me to go to the ER. Well, can't afford that so I have been taking Epsom salt baths and they help a little. I'll tell you about it and you can see if the symtoms are gout.SOme one who had it told me it was like thiers. Anyway, it seems if I eat too much or something unuual, my feet, ankles and claves swell up. The first time this happend they were so big, I had gained 17 pounds in one week. I was in extreme pain and couldn't fit in my shoes, had to wear slippers to work. The first night I took the Epsom salt bath I lost 6 pounds and my legs were half the size, next night I lost the rest and they returned to almost normal. Now since that happened everytime I eat a little more,I blow up. I just did again over the weekend. And I really didnt eat all that much. I have lost over 120 pounds in the last few years and do not eat alot. Now if I eat like a normal person, boom, my feet expolde. Does that sound like gout to you? Tired of swelling. Marla
