I had the same problem and I was 36 when it started. Come to find out, it was the pitutary gland which controls the female hormones. When it flares, it actually sends a message to the thyroid gland, which is the real culprit. It was under active. The docs put me on beta blockers to control the headaches. It works without any side effects and I feel a whole lot better. I was getting migraines headaches every day. I was extremely anxious, mainly because I had to put up with the headaches. I started getting headaches back in 1989, and they just found the problem two months ago. I sure hope this helps, because I know what you are going through. Good luck!!
