What you have is considered a type of herpes but not how you think. It is called a cold sore or a fever blister. You don't have to do anything sexually to get it sometimes they come out right after you have been sick and sometimes they are a reaction to stress and other similar causes. Buy some blistex or other similar medicine to help the pain. It will go away soon. Some people are more prone to cold sores than others.
