I had started my period on Saturday, 2 days ago(Monday) I came home, went to the bathroom. A few hours(2)my vagina felt like it was burning, so I went to the bathroom to urinate and when I did I had this horrible burning, pain! I told my grandmother, she told me that it was probably a yeast infection and said for me to drink lots of Cranberry Juice and lots of water. She also gave me some cream(Vagisil) to put on. I had done what she had told me. Today is Friday, I think I'm making progress, but this morning and this afternoon, I still have that burning feeling. This is strange though. I don't know if I have a yeast infection. I have the burning symptom, but I don't have the white, fungi discharge. Today I looked up a few sites on Yeast infections and Herpes. The one site (about herpes) they said that the symptoms: burning sensation while urinating and red bloches around the vagina,etc. I don't have any red bloches. Yet I don't have any fungi discharge. I have no clue! It just burns when I urinate! I'm a little confused and a little scared. I'm 14 and this is my first time EVER experiencing something like this and I am a bit clueless about some of the information I am seeking. I don't know if I have a yeast infection or Herpes. Because I don't have any discharge of white fungi and I don't have any red bloches around my area down there! I have no itch irritation either. I need someone to help me, please. Thank you very much.
