Hi Rick, you have already received a lot of answers on your question, I hope you will hear something knew from me; I have migraine as well not so long in a row, but I know how you feel at the time you have it. I have the classic one so seeing very badly and i loose the feeling in my left side of my face and left arm. I take a normal NSAID for it it is called diclofenac. This makes sure I have the attack heavy for about 2 hours when I am lucky. Once I took a medicine Imigran(was new about 10 yrs ago. It helped very good It speeded up the attack so it was gone very fast however I lost the feeling of my leg aswell. I didn't like that and that is why I stopped taking it. It couldhave been exception though. My experience is to be fast taking medication the faster I am the quicker the attack is gone. I know of people getting it from green pies, red wine and pure chocolate, I can advise you to go to a manual therapist or osteopath who is experienced in cranial therapy. Good results came out there, because a lot has to do with tension around the skull and blood supply in the head. Hope to have helped you; let me know if I gave you a good information.
