My sister has pulmonary fibrosis. She is terminal. They are considering a lung transplant now. She's on 0xygen 24hrs a day, 80mg prednisone daily, 150 mg cytoxin daily along with lots of other medicines. According to her Dr. there is no cure. They only try to stop the progression of the disease. She's getting worse daily. I also lost 2 brothers last September, 5 days apart, they both had the same disease. Good luck to your family member.
