Our doctor started our four year old on Lupron Depot within eight days of our first visit. His primary concern was to stop, and hopefully reduce, breast and uteran development. My husband and I were very concerned about her final height. The Lupron hopefully will keep her bone age frozen so she can continue to grow 1-2 inches a year while she is taking it. Our doctor said that there are no known side effects so far. Lupron has only been around for about twenty years. He also told us that after our daughter goes off lupron she may or may not grow anymore. I asked about future fertility. He said others haven't had any problems. I hope I've hleped. Our daughter has only had one Lupron Depot shot. So far everything seems to be fine.
