My almost 15 year old son was diagnosed with kyphosis about a year and a half ago by a chiropractor. We stopped going to her for scheduling reasons about a year ago. I finally took my son to an orthopedic surgeon last week and the condition was confirmed. He has about a 63 degree curve. We were told he'd need to wear a brace all day, every day for about 2 years, otherwise, he'll have to have surgery. Being 15 and going into the 10th grade, he is mortified at the thought of wearing a brace and being laughed at and called a geek. HELP!
