Hi Helen. I have also just been diagonosed with fibrous dysplasia of the skull base which expands into the spenoid sinus and the cervical spine. An MRI or cat scan should be able to tell if is is pagets or fibrous dysplasia and even cancer. The answer is trying to find the right doctor who is familiar with this type of disorder (which I am in the process of doing.) Was wondering if you are in much pain. I have headaches and neck pain but it is not constant. I know it is scary what I have been reading about it and hopefully we will both get some answers. I wish you good luck.
