I too have been suffering from this problem... it began in August - it is now late December. At first it was one attack per day - generally in the morning - very painful in the chest and I could not talk at all. By the end of September I was having multiple attacks per day. I went to the ER and the gave me a nubulizer - I realized I haven't been breathing right for some time. Soon after the treatment the attacks reoccured. The doctors gave me inhalers - I took for about three weeks and all finally seemed to be in control then boom - it started happening again. I now continue to use the inhaler to control the spontaneous attacks. I now only seem to have about 3 a week, however last night I had an attack and as so many other times it ended with vomiting. I noticed that I had actually vomited up pink tissue - I haven't eaten anything that looked like this - it was a couple of bits of pink tissue. I keep it and by morning it had dried to a flake of pink/red tissue. What does this mean? Has anyone ever had such a problem... also there was a frothy looking fleghm. Can someone help... I don't think I have been getting very good medical care and now I am being to question the whole diagonis. I haven't been feeling well for almost a year and I am now being 'passed' on to a seventh doctor. Thanks
