I don't know any answers to your questions, but I can tell you what I know. MY mother was diagnosed with lupus on the same day she found out she was pregnant with me. When she was diagnosed she was told that after having one child (my brother) she should not have another one. She told the doctor it maybe to late for that. Later that day she found out that she was pregnant with me. I am 17 now and both my mother and I are alive. Recently, though, I found out that after I was born my mother had 3 miscarrages. My mother does not like to admit when things are wrong with her, and I know very little about this disease of hers. I know that it causes her great pain at times and that she did become sick after I was born. I myself am trying to find out information on Lupus (that's how I ended up here).
