I believe I have a ganglion cyst on the topside base of my wrist.It just appeared overnight.Do they ever go away?I haven't talked to a MD yet about it.I heard a crazy way of getting rid of them was to hit it real hard with a hammer or heavy book.I really don't think I could do either one!I wouldn't think a dr. would suggest that either!I just wonder if they could be caused from using the wrist too much;which my job requires.I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel also.Sounds like there could be a connection with the two.Any info on the subject would be appreciatd.Thank you. Have your ganglion cysts ever gone away?
