I was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis, PSC and Chron's disease December 2000. The auto immune hepatitis causes me abdominal pain, (upper right quadrant) fatigue and itching. I experienced a bout of jaundice for several weeks in October and this is when a team of specialst were brought in to properly diagnose my situation. I am currently on a regiment of anti inflamitory steriods/therapy as well as medication to reduce the bile toxins which result in itching skin. If anyone has been diagnosed with these overlapping diseases and has found a diet which accomodates the pain as well as weight management with the steriods, I would be very grateful to hear about your experience.
