It sounds like you don't actually have UC. To be advising someone with ulcerative colitis to go on a diet that contains 85% raw veg etc would just about kill them. Well it would me anyway. When the bowel is not functioning very well, to suggest eating mainly indigestible foods, doesn't seem very sensible. It would give me agonising pain and horrendous diarrohea and bleeding.
