i'm a 21 year old female and i just got back from the doctor. this morning when i was in the shower i had severe chest pains!!i said well let me look on the internet and see if i can find what my doctor was talking about. He said i have costochondritis. just like you the pain is above my heart ( i had an EKG done on me today also, everything was fine) the pain is also on my left side, to me it felt as though i was having an heart attack, but then again i said it can't be i'm too young.
