My son who has Hodgkins had "stroke' like symmptoms including agitation, disorientation, garbled speech -all lasted about 2 days. The doctor called it Ophelia syndrome--his mental ability was cloudy for over 48 hrs. Anyone ever hear of this?? The doctor couldnt explain it very well. Also his spinal fluid pressure was 3 times normal--when it was relieved he seemed better--but it didn't last--only two intraspinal chemo treatments and steroids seemed to help.
