My heart goes out to you . My husband was diagnosed a few days before Christmas with what sounds to be the same. His however was a very aggressive form so they treat it agressively. Depression some days , anger other days is what I deal with. I am not new to this cancer situation. My mother passed away less than two years ago from a rare form of cancer. Between my sister-in-law and myself we took care of her . She only lasted four months because she was elderly and weak so there was'nt much that could be done. So here I was still grieving over her loss and wham I got hit again with my husbands. However, he is a big strong 39 year old man. So the doc hopes we can get it into remission and then go for a bone marrow transplant. What really gets to a person is the emotions. Some days I feel such love for him other days when he is irritable I almost wish I had never met him. That may sound awful . I've spent over 20 years with him but I just can hardly deal with things a second time around . His mood swings are hurtful to all of us. He says awful things to both me and the kids. He has always had an awful temper but the doc says its the prednisone making him this way . I don't know. I will get him well but if he is still moody and abusive I'm out of here. Just because cancer goes into remission doesn't mean that it wont vere its ugly face again. I just can't take anymore nor can my children. Now I understand why that tradgic illnesses separate people from the ones they love. Sorry to go on about my situation I'f you would like to e-mail me you are welcome to do so .
