Dear Margaret Sorry about your husband.Ilost mine 5years ago today.We didn,t know he had it untill he was admitted to hospital very ill,as all the symptoms we thought was due to diabeties. and i just found out last night that his sister who is 50 has hemochromatosis, and now beleive my Jim did too. He was a big man and lost a lot of wheight and his colour was ash, very tierd all the time.a lot of pain and his stomach at the end was very blowted .When I think back I think he had it for a long time . I wish you both peace and strength to deal with this as best as you can . Stay Strong Raymonne PS how old is your husband, mine was 57
