Hi , I am not a doctor but have had the same problem , i understand in children this can also be a defect in the urinary system , bacteria goes back down the tube that the sperm travel up , this causes inflamation , in my experience Ciprofloxacin is the best antibiotic , most doctors treat this condition in my experience as an STD ! using doxicyclene ( sorrey for spelling ) so they never sort it out , the first time you get inflamation here it is very bad and lasts a long time ( for me up to 12 months ) before it is anywhere near normal.Cipro works well on E coli bacteria , a doctor in Holland told me that the bacteria can come from your bowl and get down the epididymus.A long course of ciprofloxacin should help ( Ciproxin ) its good stuff plus rest .
