Reg, I am a 41 yr. old female with a similar problem. I have recurring internal shingles and they seem to be getting more frequent lately. I am not having much luck with proper diagnosis or treatment because mine only last a few days and don't behave like normal shingles. I am seeing a new doctor next week and will write if anything good comes of it but my experience so far is most doctors don't understand it. Good luck to you.
