Hello! I can't help with advice about your cervix but I'm writing to suggest that you consider changing doctors immediately! Please don't return to this doctor. If you are feeling pain and tell him so, he has a responsibility to respect your feelings and stop hurting you or give you something to numb the area he's working on, which is what everyone else does. So please, do yourself a huge favor and find another doctor at once. Perhaps you would prefer a female doctor after this horrible experience, although most male doctors are compassionate and kind to their patients. You just got a bad one who should be reported to the AMA. Good luck and remember: you deserve to be treated with respect and compassion and you don't need to feel that kind of pain.
