I had my 6th post-cancer anniversary Sept. 8. I had a very fast growing lymph gland in my groin. They thought it was ok after checking it out during surgery but were wrong, as the frozen section later showed. I had 25 radiation treatments, no chemo required, as all the other tests were neg. Of course, I still get a little anxious anytime I notice something that is a little odd but so far, so good. The Drs. consider a cure after 5 years. Hope your mother is as lucky. Oh, yes, this was diagnosed as non-Hodgkins lymphoma, also. May God be with you all.
