Get it operated on SOON! My husband's AAA was discovered in a back xray. He has been tested w/CTscan, MRI, arteriogram (dye test) and Pulmonary Function Test. He is now waiting for the surgeons to schedule a procedure. we hope it will be the stent method: a custom-made strengthening device is placed in the aorta via the femoral arteries. With your renal artery involved, that might not be feasible. However, if you do not get the AAA repaired, it will probably rupture and you WILL BE DEAD IN A FEW MIUTES!! I know several people who have had them repaired w/surgery and they are fine.
