Hi Gary, I sure do wish every thing is well with you. I am recovering right now from 2 aneurysms. One of mine was 10x11. The doctors nicknamed it the "the monster". They said I had this one for a very long time, it already had calcification deposits on it. I'm 44 yrs old. I didn't have any symtoms that something was wrong, they were found by accident. I wasn't scared. I felt that God was in control. Because of the location of "the monster" Drs couldn't do a craniotomy and because the neck of the aneurysm was to wide the coil wouldn't work and the location made this no good for clipping. I am lucky to have the doctors I do. Dr.Struther at UW hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, renowned across the US for the coil procedure developed a way using a stent and coils together. After 5 feet of coil I'm alive. Going thru recovery now from surgery for the small on. Done a few months ago. Boy, what a slow recovery which I'm sure you can relate too. Gary, or anyone please feel free to e-mail Its sad that we don't have more support groups for this.
