My 14 year old daughter was just recently diagnosed with dyspraxia. Finally an OT that knew what she was doing. Reading the materials she sent to me was like reading my daughters life story. My daughter is cuurently in the ninth grade in a NYC public school special Ed. program. All her life she never fit into one set "label".Now that I have read the material on Dyspraxia, do I take her to a pedatric neurologist? Does anyone know have a nyc school, public or private that deals with learning disabled children who have dyspraxia? This is all so knew to me! Any info would greatly appreciated. Thanks!
