Sharon; I can relate to parts of what you are saying. So much of what you take for granted is gone. It can get you down. I think you might keep this in mind: 1. be patient; things usually get better 2. get as educated as you can on this problem 3. you may have to go to several doctors before you find one that works well with you 4. regular exercise may help or at least improve your spirit. Its tough but you can learn to deal with it. My sister is 53 and has had this problem for at least 10 years and continues to teach, drive, etc. although she have episodes at times.
