First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your mc. I, too, had an early mc once, but at least my midwife was more understanding than your doc. Being that the mc was so early in the pg, you probably won't pass a lot of tissue and it may seem like just a heavy menstrual period. Be forewarned, though, that the bleeding may last way longer than a period. Mine lasted for what seemed to me as forever (six weeks!) before it finally stopped. I was scheduled for a sonogram after that so they could make sure everything was cleaned out and I didn't need a D&C (I didn't). Again, I'm sorry for your loss. ~Laurie
