I am just a step behind you with our son! Our son is 5 1/2 years old and is in preschool. This is his last year and will be going to kindergarten in the fall. I always feared this day to come but it will be here before I know it! Our son is also in extensive speech therapy and recieves OT as well. He is very social and outgoing for the most part considering his limitations. But I worry how things will go in a public school being that he has been somewhat sheltered in a pre-school for special needs. However, he plays sports on typical teams and fits in. Our older son is in a Catholic school and Zachs speech would have to improve even greater to get him there. I like hearing from other families with children that have dyspraxia, it is nice to compare notes and explore the options that is out there for school, therapies and what ever else may be.
