I TOO HAD SPINAL STENOSIS AND CAN BELIEVE YOUR PAIN. NIGHT TIMES WERE ALSO VERY BAD. I FOUND RELIEF WITH PILLOWS BETWEEN MY KNEES, BACK AND FRONT. I WOULD HAVE TO BUILD THIS NEST EACH NIGHT AND SEVERAL TIMES IN BETWEEN. GETTING UP AND WLAKING UPRIGHT WAS A CHORE AS WELL. I AM ABOUT TO GO THROUGH MY 5TH LOWER LUMBAR INSTRUMENT FUSION AND AT THIS POINT I HAVE NO STENOSIS BUT A BROKEN SCREW AND A NON-FUSION DUE TO THIS. I AM FINDING SOME RELIEF WITH EPIDURALS FOR ABOUT 3-4 MONTHS UNTIL I HAVE THE SURGERY. OF COURSE, I AM ON A PAIN KILLER CALLED VICAPRVN WHICH IS AN ANTI INFLAMATORY AS WELL AS A PAIN KILLER. IT HELPS, BUT I TOO CAN STILL FEEL THE PAIN. WHEN I HAD THE STENOSIS AND FUSION TWO YEARS AGO I HAD INSTANT RELIEF AND THE STENOSIS HAD NOT RETURNED. I'VE HAD A RECENT MRI WITH STEEL PLATES AND SCREWS, WHY ARE THEY TAKING YOURS OUT? HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU. LINDA
