I am in the same situation as you are. Have you had any luck so far? I am 38 very fit and active and the doctors are afraid to even touch me. I keep seeing alot of stuff on the web about the conservative hip replacements...What are you doing now? How is it going? I am very aggravated. I am no longer even able to ride my bike, as I loved aerobics and kickboxing this all just came on 4 months ago...and I feel like a total mess. The first cortisone injection and only one so far worked for about 1 month and a half. They can repeat it. But don't like doing that either. So, I take oxycontin and vioxx which does absolutely nothing fo rthe pain. But makes me drowsy and cranky, and so I guess thats not great either. What are your physical limitations and where is the pain> I find walking if I balance mostly on the other leg and wearing really good running type shoes helps a bit. also, I am doing some isometric exercises I would love to share with you that helped me to regain the tone in my thigh and leg.
