I too have CMV and found this out just before becoming pregnant. I had no idea of the risk associated with this virus and pregancy, but, luckily it appears that I was exposed to CMV before becoming pregnant. I have had numerous tests done and that baby appears o.k. according to the US and amniocentesis. It was the most stressful time of my life and pray everyday for a healthy baby. Since I was diagnosed I have been sick almost every month or so with colds and sore throats. Also, the elevated temps driving me crazy and worrying about the way it could affect the baby. The fatigue came along with all of it and top the pregnancy fatigue onto it!!! Not fun at all. I just wonder what is in store for me after the baby is born? So, that's my story and would be glad to share any info I receive about CMV with anyone.
